CLIPPING & GROOMING

If your horse has cushing’s- PLEASE specify ahead of time, or a $100 surcharge will be added for clipper damage.
Travel fees may apply depending on location and number of clips booked.
Surcharges for dirty or wet horses starting at $45, which is the cost of new blades.
​I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel it would be unsafe to clip your horse.

Rates

As of January 2025, I have changed my fees to an hourly rate instead of charging per clip type. I felt it was unfair to charge the same for a full body clip for a 12hh pony and an 18h behemoth. This will also greatly benefit the owners that have bathed and groomed their horses prior to clipping, and hopefully encourage others to bathe a little more!

  • Hourly Rate
    (billed in 15 min. increments and rounded up to next increment)
    ex: 34 min. clip will be billed at 45 minutes, which would be $75
    $100/hr for the first two hours
    $80/hr after two hours
  • Bridle path and chin trim: Free with full body clip
  • Show clean up: $50 (includes bridle path, chin, jaw line, fetlocks, ear clean up, tail bang)
  • Custom designs: Starting at $25

OVERNIGHT / HORSE HOTEL

Coming in town for a show or XC schooling, or want your horse to spend a few days at Camp Paradox for training? While we do not offer full time board at this moment, we have space for temporary & short term stays! We are conveniently located 5 minutes off 69 Hwy. and 15 minutes off Interstate 71 and have stalls OR paddocks available. Owners that are bringing horses for overnight training MUST provide any grain or supplements.

Rates

Rates are per night/per horse.

  • Overnight Training Board: $35
    Owner provides hay & grain
    Paradox Farm in charge of horse care
  • Overnight Training Board: $50
    Owner provides grain, Paradox Farm provides hay
    Paradox Farm in charge of horse care
  • Overnight Stall – Self Care: $35
    One bag of shavings provided
    Owner must supply own water buckets
    Owner in charge of horse care while staying
    Owner must pick out stall prior to departure
  • Overnight Stall – Full Service: $50
    One bag of shavings provided
    Owner in charge of horse care while staying
    Stall will be set up prior to arrival with two fresh buckets of water & two flakes of alfalfa hay
    Stall does not have to be picked out prior to departure
  • Overnight Paddock: $35
    Automatic waterer & shelter in paddock
    Owner in charge of horse care
  • Overnight Paddock (with hay): $45
    Automatic waterer & shelter in paddock
    Owner in charge of horse care

HAULING SERVICES

We have a 2017 Ford F-350 and 2017 Elite 6 Horse Head-to-Head with air ride and cameras on board

Rates

Rates are calculated based on round trip mileage, not one way.

  • Local hauling (under 50 miles): $2/mile
  • Mid-range hauling (51-100 miles): $1.50/mile
  • Long distance hauling (100+ miles): $1/mile
