Riding Lessons & Horse Training

We offer an array of lesson options from the beginner rider first putting their foot in the stirrup to the competitive athlete aiming for a national championship. Our riders are a growing group of fun, encouraging, and enthusiastic bunch – ranging as young as 8 years old, to high schoolers, college students and adult ammys! Whether you want to improve your daily riding, compete on the local or national circuits, or just want a fun evening activity with like-minded individuals, we offer it all.

No two programs or horse/rider pipelines are the same. Regardless of your aspirations, we work with all of our riders to set big goals, help map out a realistic and attainable timeline, and will push you as little or as hard as you need to achieve all of your wildest dreams.

The backbone of our program is based on setting a strong and safe foundation, centering towards rider biomechanics, competent flatwork skills, as well as emphasizing the importance of ethical and “horse comes first” horsemanship and rider mental health. We believe in helping our riders become independent thinkers, and actively encourage asking questions. If you are just wanting to come get on an already tacked up horse and bop around for one hour, our program is not for you. We believe that riding starts out of the saddle, and will teach our riders how to properly tack up, make sure your gear is fitted and safe, and will help educate about proper horse management.

Our training philosophy is geared towards producing confident and competent riders and horses that can go on to have success in many different disciplines; primarily Eventing, Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and United States Pony Club.

Please note, that while we do not accept boarders, we frequently allow horses in for training what we like to call “Camp Paradox.” Prior arrangements must be made for overnight long term training. However, we always allow for owners to haul their horses in for training rides on a single time basis.
