Here at Paradox Farm, we believe that ample turn-out is the foundation for a happy, healthy, well-rounded equine partner. For that reason, we try to keep our horses on 24/7 turn-out, weather permitting. In the summertime, we bring them in during the day to help combat the heat and sun.

We believe that turn-out and letting our horses be horses helps keep them significantly more sound, as well.

Our farm is a family operated private facility, so our horses constantly have someone on site at all times. Additionally, we have a private front gate for added protection and peace of mind.

Paradox Farm sits on 20 lush, open acres in southern Overland Park, Kansas, just 30 minutes south of Kansas City. However, it feels much more vast since we are adjacent to 300+ acres of nature park on three sides of our property line. We are incredibly blessed to have this land around us, especially as the area is rapidly developing, and feel grateful to have access to the land for gallop sets, as well as trail riding.

Our barn is modest, yet well thought out for the working horseman. It has six 12×12 stalls (each equipped with fans & cameras), a wash rack with hot/cold water, radiation heaters, feed room, tack room, laundry room, lounge, bathroom and an attached upstairs 3 bed/1 bath apartment. The barn is equipped with a fly spray system that sprays in each stall and the barn aisle once every hour.

As far as pasture space, we have two large pastures (5 acres and 10 acres) and five crushed rock dry lots with run-in sheds in each one. Each pasture and dry lot is equipped with Nelson’s Automatic Waterers and each run-in shed has automatic fly sprayers that spray once every hour.

Our outdoor arena is 100×200, has regularly maintained footing, and is fitted with large stadium lights for late night riding. We have tons of jump wings and rails for any course design that may come across one’s mind. Additionally, we have a 20×60 installed Premier dressage grass ring and around 45 schooling cross country fences, complete with coffins, ditches, and soon- banks and a water complex.

All of our schooling elements are open for haul-in schooling.

All of our horses are on a Triple Crown, and high-quality tested Alfalfa hay diet.
