About Us

When Paradox Farm was purchased in the 1987, it was nothing but a large plot of land and an even bigger dream. Owned by Dr.’s Gregory & Ginger Stiver, a Dentist and a Veterinarian, it was affectionally given its namesake by Ginger’s father, who dubbed it because of the newly married “pair-of-docs.”

Thus, Paradox Farm was born.

Over the past 30+ years, additions have been slowly and methodically added, and the farm continues to grow and develop as we continue to grow and change as horsemen. Though it continues to grow, to this day, Paradox Farm feels like an oasis in the middle of nowhere when you’re on the property. The trees, the land, and the privacy makes you feel like you’re the only person on Earth when you’re here.

What started as a small hobby farm for two newly married trail riding enthusiasts, has now flourished into a family run operation dedicating to growing the sport of 3-Day Eventing in the Midwest.
